Safety switches

The manufacturer Comitronic offers you two options for safety switches:

Stand alone magnetic safety switches, contactless – they do not require a safety module for their operation and nevertheless reach safety categories 1 to 4, depending on the type of switch. The usage of this stand alone safety switches reduces time consumption and simplifies the connection to the network. This is an economocial solution where only a few dangerous accesses need to be protected.
Non-autonomous magnetic switches using the safety module AWAX and ACOTOM process - when using non-autonomous safety switches, there has to be an AWAX safety module that has a built-in DLC system. The main purpose of this cost-effective solution is to control multiple access areas with hust one safety module. The switches in this series are 100% electronic (ACOTOM®2 process). One MASSIMOTTO ANA78S.2 M12 with AWAX: category 4, which ensures unlimited operation life expectancy. Up to 30 non-autonomous switches can be connected in series to only one safety module, except ANATOM 6S (up to max 5 switches).

Functional safety guaranteed according to EN954 and EN60947 standards.
Replacement for mechanical or reed switches with many advantages.
The receiver and transmitter communicate smoothly through non-magnetic materials (stainless steel, aluminimu, plastic) up to 7 mm thickness.
Housings with protection of IP67 or higher (up to IP69K)
Both series are intended to protect the worker from interfering with the working area of the machine, which may cause minor or major injuries.
They consist of two units, a receiver and a transmitter.
Use on various ports, covers, safety nets, etc. with the operation in different directions.
