End of line deflagration flame arrester

End of line deflagration flame arrester installed at end of vent pipe prevents light-back at deflagration of potentially explosive vapour-air or gas-air mixtures from outside (atmospheric conditions) to the protected side (e. g. storage tank). The end arrester is not suitable for fire (stable fire).

End of line flame arrester approved for endurance burning and atmospheric explosion

End of line deflagration flame arrester installed at end of vent pipe prevents light-back at deflagration of potentially explosive vapour-air or gas-air mixtures from outside (atmospheric conditions) to the protected side (e. g. storage tank) also in case of endurance burning.

Inline deflagration flame arrester

Inline deflagration flame arresters designed to prevent transmission of a deflagration (explosion propagating at subsonic velocity). Inline deflagration flame arresters are fitted with two pipe connections, one on each side of the flame arrester.

Inline detonation flame arrester

Inline detonation flame arrester prevents a flame propagation to the protected side in case of deflagration and detonation of explosive vapor-air or gas-air mixtures.

Flame arresters for the protection of biogas plants

To avoid personal injury and property damages, tanks and sensitive system parts into which flames can blow in or out has to be protected through flame arresters. Flammer flame arresters are tested and approved by independent insitutions.

In accordance with the »Regulations on technical requirements for the construction and operation of stations for the supply of fuel for motor vehicles«, fuel tanks at petrol stations must be equipped with flame arresters that prevent the passage of flames of explosive mixtures: gas-air, vapor-air, fog-air, steam-air into tank.
